  Marko Vignjević
Marko was born in Belgrade, Serbia and grew up in the suburb of Senjak where he attended Branko Parac grammar school. When his family moved to Moscow he continued his education at a Moscow grammar school, together with studying piano at the music school and attending classes at the Yugoslav Embassy. It was on his return from Russia in 1990, whilst at the Sveti Sava High School, that he first developed a penchant for writing.

His inspiration for "Writings of a Wretch" came when he spotted one of his grammar school teachers minding a booth in a flea market in Belgrade. The realisation was brought home to him that all was not as it had seemed on the surface; that often unimaginable misery and hardship could lurk beneath a surface; and that one could never know of the mental suffering which may haunt the mind and life of another.

Mr Vignjevic has two other finished works to his credit: "Spirits and Shadows" and "The Premier (Cycle No. 1)", although sadly we understand that neither of these have as yet been translated into English.

  Jo Young
After departing Liverpool, U.K. clutching her Ba.Hons. degree, Jo Young spent the following 15 years working in the voluntary sector specialising in fundraising for local, regional and international charities. However, upon deciding she needed something rather more secure, she transferred her allegiance to the public sector, when she began writing as a hobby.

Quickly developing a yearning to be a writer, she began recounting some of her ‘every-day’ experiences and her first published work is a series of vignettes written in light-hearted and humorous manner. Her aim, she tells us, being “to bring a smile to the reader’s face and put a spring in their step”. This she certainly does in her first book containing a selection of humorous, light anecdotes ideal for picking up to enjoy with a coffee break or whilst enjoying a sojourn by the sea.

  William Cupit
Born in Nottinghamshire in the U.K.; transferring to North Yorkshire at age 16, Mr. Cupit’s early years were spent in the countryside where he was raised on farms. Choosing to embark on a totally different career however, he went off to university to study Film and Television. Having completed his degree he then broadened his horizons travelling throughout South America. Finally deciding upon a career teaching English he went on to Asia where he met his wife-to-be. After more extensive travelling with his wife, he has finally returned to his roots in North Yorkshire and reverted back to a life in the Countryside.

Aimed at the Adult sector, his writings are haunting and compulsive reading. Reflecting dangerous emotions quietly building up in the psyches of his protagonists, and with deeply sinister undertones they are guaranteed to send a chill down the spine.
